FAQs, Misconceptions, and Clarifications

 Misconception: Slayers only go after and kill the dangerous dragons and leave the peaceful dragons be.

NOPE! As much as I want this to be true, Slayers see ALL dragons as dangerous and want to kill them all, regardless if they are peaceful or not. In fact, this came up during the most recent Conference of the Rulers of Ruoler. Kiodrus, the king of Slayers himself, mentioned that even one of the most peaceful dragons, the Saccharonimbus, could be a threat to humanity (check out the journal on the conference for more info on what Kiodrus said about dragons as well).

What magics do Castors use?

This depends. Originally when I thought of Castors, I thought of the elemental magics (fire, water, ice, poison, earth, air, etc), but I also said that voodoo priests or priestesses are Castors, so another magic that Castors could know is Necromancy and that kinda stuff. It really depends on what kind of Castor you want to pick and/or what you personally think your Castor would be into.

 A bit about Tamer sanctuaries

I haven't really touched upon this, but I feel like it's worth noting. Tamer sanctuaries are kinda like little towns or settlements. These places are HUGE (they kinda haveta be to hold all the dragons, lol), and a few people (like a person or two at the least, several families at the most) live in these sanctuaries besides the Tamer(s) themselves, making the sanctuaries pretty self-sufficient most of the time. More than one Tamer may live in a sanctuary at a time, but only the Tamer(s) take care of and tend to the dragons. The other people there just live peacefully and safely within the sanctuary's walls (it IS a sanctuary, after all).

 About your OC's "homeland"

Each nation is divided into several regions which have their own towns and geographic features. When you put in your OCs homeland, you should include:

The nation (Druhr, Eldia, Uvris, or Iatrea)
The region
The city (or sanctuary, if your OC is a Tamer)



Misconception: Because your OC is a Tamer/Slayer/Breeder/Racer, your character MUST be from Eldia/Uvris/Iatrea/Druhr

This one I've heard a fair few amount of times. Just because these peoples have distinct nations doesn't mean that there can't be a Racer in Eldia or a Slayer in Iatrea! It's kinda like how France is a country, but France isn't the only place in the world where French people live. Don't be afraid to have your OC living in a different nation. Have a Slayer that you want to have living in Eldia? Go for it! Want a Breeder in Uvris? Go ahead! That being said, however...



...Don't forget where your OC is from!

Can there be Tamers in Uvris? Of course! But does that mean that King Kiodrus will allow and accept this? Can there be Racers in Eldia? Naturally! Just remember that all the big Run arenas are in Druhr. Your character CAN be from other nations. I'm not discouraging this, nor am I against this. But PLEASE take into account what the nations are like and how your OC would live there when making your applications! Not only will it help to make sense when RPing and when others are reading your OC's app, but it will lessen the amount of editing you'll have to do to your OC after sending it in (if you need to edit anything at all!).



Can I still participate in this group if I don't want to make OCs and RP?

Of course you can! We will be holding contests and the like that you can enter and possibly win prizes from! And if you want, you can submit art for the group and we'll put it in the gallery for all to see! Please note that if you want to do art of a specific OC, then you MUST contact that OC's owner FIRST! If you want to make art of the dragons or if you want to make a landscape of one of the nations of Ruoler or something along those lines, you are allowed, but PLEASE FOLLOW WHAT THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE PLACES/DRAGONS SAY BEFORE YOU DRAW THEM! I don't mean to be picky, but the dragons and all that have been described for a reason, so please follow the descriptions. If you have any other questions or ideas as to how you can participate, feel free to ask the admins and we will respond as soon as we can!~
